Meet the Local Committee

Tina Grimes – Chair/Treasurer
Tina joined our Local Committee in the Fall 2022 and officially took on the role of Treasurer beginning January 2023. She has also been the interim Chair in addition to the Treasurer for much of that time. In her day job she is the CEO of the Rogue Valley Association of REALTORS and Southern Oregon Multiple Listing Service. She loves being able to use her experience in business and accounting for the Lord. She has also mentored children and teens in multiple ministries for almost 30 years.

Miette Cunningham – Secretary
I have been connected with CEF through our kids getting involved with Christian Youth In Action® (CYIA™) around 14 years ago. I was so excited about watching our kids grow and learn so much about leadership, the Word, and sharing the Gospel that I found myself desiring to be more and more involved! I was asked If I would pray about being on the committee. After visiting during a few meetings, I was so impacted by the love these saints had for seeing lost children saved and saved children discipled that I accepted the invite. Being part of CEF has been a huge tool for my personal growth! Not only have I been stretched to learn new things and been challenged often to step out of my comfort zone, but I have also deepened in my relationship with the Lord and my understanding of how to share Christ with anyone!! It is an honor and a joy, as well as exciting to be part of this ministry and the work the Lord is doing through the staff and through the volunteers!

Travis Morgan – Member
Travis is a born and raised Native Oregonian. However in his young adult years, he found his way to Texas where he met his wife Clemencia. After 20 years in Texas, he returned home to southern Oregon. He began volunteering at a local Good News Club in 2024 with the intention of just being a short term helper. But after seeing the amazing opportunity of proclaiming the Gospel and pointing kids to Jesús he realized that volunteering in the Good News Club is a real way to live out the great commission in a way that reaches kids that might not otherwise hear the Gospel message. When learning of needs in the local committee, he decided to volunteer here as well. When he’s not at Good News Club, the local church, or working in his general contracting business, Travis could likely be found building something at home, working in the garden, taking care of their bees, or just hanging out with the kids and grandkids.

Tracy Van Hee – Member
I was born and raised in Kent, Washington, the youngest of three children in a non-believing home. I became a Christian as a high school senior March 5, 1978 after the faithful witness of a classmate. I joined the Navy in August 1978 and quickly began growing in my faith and my walk with Jesus matured rapidly. By 1980 I was the director of Midway Christian Fellowship, which had a membership of approximately 50 sailors. Upon discharge, I attended Bible college one year at Columbia Bible College (South Carolina). My wife and I married in 1985 and we raised three children. We now have four grandchildren. After 12 years working in the Seattle area I received an offer to work for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers at Lost Creek dam. Our family moved from Covington, WA to Eagle Point, OR in 1997 and we raised our children in Eagle Point Community Bible church. I taught Bible Story time for children in Eagle Point, taught Sunday school for adults and children and served as an elder for about 20 years. Lorna (my wife) and I finished up our working years in The Dalles, OR for five years. We now live in Southern Oregon and serve on the Local Committee of CEF.

I grew up in a Christian home and made a decision for Christ at an early age. My husband and I are the parents of 3 adult children and 4 grandchildren. We moved to Southern Oregon in 1997 and raised our children in Eagle Point, OR. We moved to The Dalles in 2018. I began working at CEF in 2019 as an office manager. I had known of CEF for many years, as my mother was a Good News Club teacher. Working with CEF has allowed me to see the great work they do with CYIA, GNC, JYC, and 5-day clubs. When we retired and moved back to this area we made contact with the local CEF office and became Board Members. We look forward to helping the local CEF team in this capacity.

Allen Lambert – Member
Allen grew up in Grants Pass, Oregon, where he first came to faith at age six through a Good News Club. He remains deeply grateful for God’s faithfulness to call him as His own and to continue to lead and guide in his life. During his teenage years, Allen was involved with Christian Youth in Action for six summers, which helped shape his early passion for ministry. In 1992, he began serving as the Director of CEF Josephine District. A few years later, he followed God’s leading overseas, serving with CEF in Copenhagen, Denmark, from 1996 to 2005. Since 1999, he has also spent his summers supporting the Christian camp for children and teens of Ástjorn in Iceland. Since 2005, Allen has been actively engaged in education and “tent-maker”, serving as a teacher, principal, and director in a variety of international settings, including France, Spain, Arizona, Lebanon, and China. He completed his Doctorate in Education from Gonzaga University in 2025. Allen is grateful for the opportunity to support local ministry efforts as a committee member and values being part of the ongoing work in his community.
